Cell Phone Radiation Causes Headaches and disrupts Sleep, claims Study

A number of studies have been conducted to explain the side-effects of using cell phones. The latest one says that the radiations emitted from phones cause headaches and could also interrupt one’s sleep patterns.

Older studies have found that excessive cell phone usage can increase mouth cancer risk and can even cause tumors. Then later, studies showed that cell phones are safe for short-term. Another study even proved that cell phone related headaches are all in the mind.

Regarding the latest cell phone study, the researchers from Wayne State University and Sweden’s Karolinska Institute say that participants who were exposed to radiation from cell phones during the study were found to experience headaches, change of moods, confusion and trouble in sleeping.

What is cell phone radiation?

Cell phone radiation is a type of electromagnetic radiation emitted from cell phones because they use radio frequency (RF) waves to make and receive calls.

The type of radiation emitted from cell phones is electromagnetic radiation. It's present in cell phones because they use VHF (Very high frequency) and UHF (ultra high frequency) waves to make and receive calls.

Cell phone radiation is everywhere, 24/7 and it is not visible to the human eye.

Radiation is not dangerous from afar; however, up close it can cause minor to major inconveniences. The main problem is, that we are carrying cell phones close to our body at all times, especially during calling.

The rate at which cell phone radiation is absorbed by the human body is measured by the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR)
